This policy explains what information IG Story Viewers (igstoryviewers.com) collects, why, how long we keep it, and what choices you have. We’ve written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email support@igstoryviewers.com.
Who we are
IG Story Viewers is run by Syed Abdullah Shah and Muhammad Shahbaz. For privacy laws such as the GDPR, we are the “controller” of the personal data described here. Contact: support@igstoryviewers.com.
What we collect and why

We ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time via . You can also block cookies in your browser.
Data about Instagram accounts shown on our site
Our tools display content that Instagram account holders have made public: usernames, profile pictures, bios, counts, stories, highlights, reels and posts. We fetch it from Instagram only when someone requests it. We don’t build profiles of account holders or sell their data. Media isn’t stored: it passes through our server to your browser. Lookup results are cached for a short time (3 minutes for stories, up to 6 hours for reels, with a backup copy for up to a day), and download links expire after 10 minutes. We never access private accounts.
If you run an Instagram account and want it excluded from our tools, use our content removal page or email support@igstoryviewers.com. We’ll confirm once it’s done.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell personal data. We only share it with services that help us run the site, and only as needed:

Some of these providers are outside your country, including outside the EU. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- withdraw consent you’ve given, such as for cookies
To use any of these rights, email support@igstoryviewers.com. We’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we don’t sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can ask what we’ve collected about you, and ask us to delete it, at the same email.
Children
IG Story Viewers isn’t intended for children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has contacted us, email support@igstoryviewers.com and we’ll delete it.
Security
Connections to our site are encrypted with HTTPS. We limit who can access server logs and contact messages to the two of us. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep only what we need, for as short a time as we can.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also note them on this page for 30 days.
